A new boiler is one of the bigger things you will spend money on in your home, so it is worth getting the advice right before anything gets ordered. David looks at how you actually use heating and hot water, how many radiators and bathrooms you have, and where the boiler and flue can sensibly go. Then he tells you what he would fit in his own house.

Combis suit most flats and smaller homes because they heat water on demand and need no tank. Homes with two or more bathrooms in use at once often do better with a system boiler and a hot water cylinder. David will look at your home and explain the options plainly.
A straight swap is usually done in a day. Moving the boiler, changing the type of system or converting from a back boiler takes longer. We will tell you how long your job will take when we price it.
Often, yes. It depends on where the flue can exit, the gas pipe route and where the condensate pipe can drain. David will check all of that on the visit and include it in the price if it is possible.
We always look at repair first. If your boiler is reliable and parts are available, a repair is usually the sensible choice. We only recommend a replacement when it genuinely makes more sense.
